old soul. new perspective

You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.

You don’t have any problems. Only this much has to be understood. This very moment you can drop all problems because they are your creations. Have another look at your problems, and the deeper you look, the smaller they will appear. Go on looking at them and by and by they will start disappearing. Go on gazing and suddenly you will find there is emptiness—a beautiful emptiness surrounds you. Nothing to do, nothing to be, because you are already that.

My last piece of advice is this simple… Persevere. Because nothing worthwhile is easy.

white bare walls. empty bed. three suitcases. 15 boxes in storage. nothing on the walls. less friends, but better ones. less outside stuff, but more inside stuff. truth is, ive never felt more at home.

Mindful yoga exercise of the day:

yogainsights:

Remind yourself of  things you are totally sure about, for instance: your name, where you are from, names of people you know, how the weather looks like now, the colors of things around you, anything, really anything that brings you a deep sensation of truth.

Then, among these truths, create your own truth: my breath saves me. Whenever I feel anxious or worried, I will focus on my breath and any negative feeling will vanish. That is a new truth from now on. Now … relax…
